Welcome to Totally Cape Town — we're live with our first 24 guides

Launch week

Totally Cape Town is live. We're starting deliberately small: 24 guides across six departments — Plan, Stay, Places, Do, Day Trips and Food & Drink — covering the essentials: Table Mountain, Robben Island, the city's neighbourhoods, the Winelands, and the practical planning details that make a first trip easier.

Why start small

Rather than publish thousands of thin pages on day one, we're building this the way a good guidebook gets written — properly, one department at a time — and adding new guides at least weekly from here. Each department card on the homepage will keep growing: more neighbourhoods, more beaches, a full hotel directory, and eventually translations into 16 languages.

What's next

  • Expanding the hotels directory with individual property profiles.
  • More neighbourhood guides in the Places department.
  • Deeper food and market coverage.
  • The first non-English language sections.

Thanks for reading this early — check back on this page for what's new, or just look for the "Updated" date on any guide.
